Political correctness is a form of censorship which is being used to suppress freedom of speech. (I didn’t write that last piece, but I believe it’s true.) So, while sarcasm, aka satire, may not be politically correct in today’s world, to suppress it is also not PC. The real problem with sarcasm, aka satire, is how it is received. If you are a Donald Trump fan, then you love sarcasm. If you are a Trump hater, then you either hate sarcasm or don’t recognize it when you hear it. If you’re like me, you just wish everyone would shut up and go home.
