“True terror is to wake up one morning and discover that your high school class is running the country.” (Kurt Vonnegut) We’ve almost made it past my generation, but unfortunately there are a few hold-overs. I think there should be both age and term-limits for everyone elected to public office. I am a little concerned about handing it over to the X, Y and Z gens. Not because of their political leanings or use of pronouns to identify themselves. There just hasn’t been any good music since 1975. And that is a problem. Except for country music of course. It hasn’t changed that much. It’s still tugs at my heart when they sing about love, beer and moonshine, pickup trucks, momma,and trains. In the words of country singer Luke Bryan: “I believe this world ain’t half as bad as it looks. I believe most people are good.” 10/25
