Writer’s Rant 11/28
“Writing is a way of talking without being interrupted.” (Jules Renard) Don’t you love people who interrupt you with something they think is more important than what you were saying? Writing for me is an escape from the banalities of other’s self-important drivel. Because to me, that’s exactly what it is. Banal, self-important, drivel. I admit, I hate conflict and I avoid it whenever possible. My writing allows me to complete my sentences and my thought without interruption. Hence, I am avoiding conflict. You can comment, disagree, whatever, AFTER I’m done writing. By then, I’ve moved on anyway and don’t really care what you think or your drivel, you self-important twit. (That’s called “venting.”) Not really though. I am always open to “constructive criticism”. Just don’t interrupt me. 11/28/23
